Key Sequence Tasks in Ribbon

It would be helpful to be able to put frequently used buttons in the ribbon menu at the top of the screen.

IE:  I have a task called Enter Webpage Username and Password that I use all day, every day.

(For those curious, the key sequence is simple and looks like this:)

$EffectiveUsername${TAB}$EffectivePassword${TAB}{ENTER}

Very effective for those pages that autofill can't autofill.

Hi Tim,

unfortunately we can't put individual tasks directly on the ribbon. The reason for this is the complex handling with the ribbon layout when documents are opened/closed. If a document is closed where the task is saved in, we would get "ghost entries" in the ribbon and ultimately in the configuration file underneath. Cleanup is another issue in this regard. We would never know if this task is actually still in use or if you just haven't opened the document with the task.

That's why you can put the task drop down in the QAT, for example, and configure the task to be a "favorite" task to get listed directly in the root popup.

You can, however, create a keyboard shortcut which invokes this task:

Let me know if this helps.

Regards,
Stefan
